No universal best source of capital

Bank finance can suit established businesses with predictable cash flow and a straightforward credit profile. Private credit can be relevant for selected secured transactions, bridges or special situations where structure and timing matter.

Compare the entire transaction

Do not compare only the interest rate. Compare cost, tenure, prepayment, security, covenants, information requirements, certainty of drawdown and the impact on future financing. A funding or transaction outcome depends on the business facts, documentation, counterparties, commercial terms and applicable regulations.
